A Shift from Perfectionism to Growth.

In a world obsessed with perfection, the concept of “practice makes perfect” has long been ingrained in our societal psyche. Yet, as my son wisely articulated, “practice makes better”  when he was six or seven perhaps it’s time we reframe our personal and professional development approach. Let’s explore how the pursuit of perfection impacts the workplace, its effects on individuals, the pervasive nature across all levels of the workforce, and why leadership development is pivotal in fostering a healthier organisational culture.

The Fallacy of Perfection:

Perfectionism permeates our workplaces, driving individuals to chase unattainable standards and magnifying the fear of failure. This relentless pursuit of flawlessness manifests in various ways:
